Most of you know KC from the Cat Blogosphere. She's not only the best repurrter EVER, but she also has a live-in computer consultant at her disposal --- that'd be her Mom, ML.
ML has published numerous articles and tips in lotsa magazines and currently is the Editorial Manager for HAL-PC Magazine, the publication of the Houston Area League of PC Users, the largest computer user group in the entire world.
KC and ML just published the third in a series of articles called "Getting Starting with Blogger" and they'll published lots and lots of tutorials, so the Cat Blog Help Center is really lucky to have their help!

For some reason, my favicon shows up when I use Firefox, but not when I use IE. I cannot figure that one out!
Oh, KEWL! I've really wondered how to do that. Fanks so much Skeezix! Oh, as long as Mom doesn't break the bloggy again.
Thanks guys. I was wondering how to do this. I am going to add one to my bloggie now.
good topic!
Daisy, in IE 6 and older, a favicon might not show in the address bar unless you've bookmarked the link. Adding this to the <head> of your home page might help:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico">
also, make sure it is a true icon file and not a file named .ico
