1) Log in to your blogger account.
2) Go to the post that has the icky comment the same way you'd go to read cool comments.
3) The comments page part may look one of these two ways below, but that's ok!
Look for the lil trashcan icon that's with the icky comment and click that.
After you've clicked the lil trash can by the icky comment, you'll see this.
5) Check the box next to "Remove forever" and then click "Delete Comment".Checking "Remove forever" makes it vanish like there never was an icky comment at all, so that's good.
6) Once you've done that, you see this, and you're all done!
No more icky comment! Woo hoo!

We had a spam comment yesterday and went to delete it. We clicked the trash can and got the message about did we want to delete it, but nowhere to click on to delete it, and no scroll bar. We left clicked to highlight the text (as if we were going to copy and paste) and scrolled to the bottom of the comment that way. It took a long time because it was a very long comment, but we eventually got to the bottom where the box was to click to delete, and got rid of it that way. We were careful not to right click in case there were any links in there that we wouldn't want to open.Don't know if this was right or wrong, but it got rid of the spam comment and everything seems ok. Hope this helps as well.
We got wun ov those stoopid loooong comments too ware when she went to delete it, the button to delete it dint show up. Momma just hit enter and it wuz gone. She had to go back agin and delete it furreffer and it wuz gone fur good. Dumb 'bots!

At one time we had the trash can. It is gone. We are signed in. Is there a way to get it back? We have not changed anything (that we know of).
